 Central Myanmar 20 DAY TRIP:
DAY 1 – YANGON AIRPORT: Arrival at the airport and TOURSMYANMAR representative will meet and transfer to hotel.
DAY 2 – YANGON CITY TOUR: City tour includes the area of Buddha’s hair relic BOTATAUNG PAGODA, YANGON RIVER side, the 100 year old THE STRAND HOTEL, SULE PAGODA at the heart of YANGON, visit to BOGYOKE MARKET, the famous bazaar for shopping. Afternoon visit to KANDAWGYI GARDEN to walk around the famous lake and lovely view to the KARAWEIK ROYAL BARGE, the RECLINING BUDDHA statue and the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, the magnificent world richest golden pagoda to watch the sunset. Overnight in YANGON.
DAY 3 - YANGON – BAGO – GOLDEN ROCK: Drive overland drive to BAGO, the ancient city to visit the KYAIKPUN FOUR FACED PAGODA, KYAKHATWAI MONASTERY, BAGO MARKET, THE ROYAL PALACE and BAGO RECLINING BUDDHA. Afternoon carrying trip to the KIMPUN VILLAGE at the GOLDEN ROCK BASE CAMP and see local shop houses. Overnight at GOLDEN ROCK BASE CAMP.
DAY 4 - GOLDEN ROCK – MAWLAMYINE: Drive by open truck to the MID-CAMP and walk to the mountain top GOLDEN ROCK (KYAIK HTI YO) PAGODA to enjoy the unbalanced boulder at the fresh atmosphere. Return to the base camp and afternoon drive to MAWLAMYINE. Overnight in MAWLAMYINE .
DAY 5 – MAWLAMYINE: Depart to far south to WORLD BIGGEST RECLINING BUDDHA, THANBYUZAYAT WW II memorial, the DEATH RAILWAY MUSEUM and a part of rail, then proceed to the KYAIKHAME PAGODA at the end of the coast. Overnight in MAWLAMYINE.
DAY 6 - MAWLAMYINE – GOLDEN ROCK: Visit the city sightseeing inclusive of RIVER SIDE, MARKETS, KYAIK THAN LAN PAGODA to watch over view and back to GOLDEN ROCK. Overnight at BASE CAMP.
DAY 7 - GOLDEN ROCK – TAUNGOO: Drive through the fields and several villages towards TAUNGOO. Visit the night market and overnight in TAUNGOO.
DAY 8 - TAUNGOO – KALAW: Continue to KALAW passes through the mainland of MYANMAR and steep mountain roads. On the way can be observe an ELEPHANT CAMP. Overnight in KALAW, a former British hill station.
DAY 9 - KALAW - NYAUNG SHWE: KALAW is a famous place for trekking to villages, pine trees, tea plantations, rotated market day, and hill tribes. Visit KALAW and overnight at NYAUNG SHWE, the gateway to INLE LAKE.
DAY 10 - INLE LAKE EXCURSION: Excursion around INLE LAKE by private boat to it’s unique leg rowers, floating gardens, stilt cottages, monasteries, glass pagodas, art & craft works, villages and floating markets. Overnight at INLE LAKE.
DAY 11 - INLE LAKE – PINDAYA CAVE: Depart for PINDAYA CAVE, to see the countless Buddha statues in the natural cave. Nearby cave, there is a man made lake and a village well known for making paper umbrellas. Overnight in PINDAYA.
DAY 12 - PINDAYA CAVE – MANDALAY: Proceed to MANDALAY, the last kingdom and as well as the centre of culture. Drive down through the best landscape, mountain roads and the plain land to MANDALAY. Overnight in MANDALAY .
DAY 13 – MANDALAY: Cross a short boat ride to MINGUN, to observe the way of living along majestic AYEYARAWADDY river, the world third largest 90 ton MINGUN BELL, huge and unfinished MINGUN PAGODA, HOME FOR AGES, the finest architecture MYA THEIN DAN pagoda. On your return to the MANDALAY ZEGYO MARKET, stroll around the foot of MANDALAY HILL (SHWE NAN DAW golden teak monastery and the largest book of Buddha’s teaching KUTHODAW PAGODA). Afternoon sunset at MANDALAY HILL. Overnight in MANDALAY.
DAY 14 – MANDALAY: Visit the famous TAPESTERIES WORKSHOP, MANDALAY PALACE and continue to MAHAMUNI IMAGE and near by the traditional art of stone curving , bronze casting and wood curving works. Afternoon to the SAGAING HILL and AMAPURA to observe the unique U BEIN’S BRIDGE at sunset. Overnight in MANDALAY .
DAY 15 - MANDALAY-BAGAN: A day cruise along the Majestic Ayeyarwaddy river to Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 16 – BAGAN: BAGAN is the richest Archaeological site in Asian. From 11 to 13 century, a great empire in Asia. BAGAN is more than 2000 temples remain today. A day sightseeing to Nyaung U, the old village area and old Bagan area, including (NYAUNG U MARKET, HTILO MINLO TEMPLE, ANADANAR TEMPLE, SHWE ZIGON PAGODA, BAGAN PALACE SITE, RIVER SIDE, MINGALAR ZEDI, SULAMANI TEMPLE, DAMMANYANGYI TEMPLE and magnificent sunset at SHWE SAN DAW PAGODA at the heart of old BAGAN). Overnight in BAGAN.
DAY 17 – BAGAN: Tour in BAGAN to include the area of New BAGAN (AZAGAWNA PAGODA, PHAYA THONE ZU TEMPLE to watch the best wall paintings, MIN NAN THU VILLAGE, LACQUARE WORK SHOPS). Afternoon, visit to LAWKANANDA PAGODA at river site, MANUHA TEMPLE of Mon Architecture, MYA ZEDI PAGODA, BU PHAYA at river side and boat ride to watch the sunset at island of AYEYARAWADDY river. Overnight in BAGAN.
DAY 18 - BAGAN – Mt. POPA – PYAY: Drive to Mt. POPA, extinct volcano with its shrine dedicated to animist spirits, and continue to PYAY. On the way, enjoy the crops and farms of several villages along dry region. Overnight in PYAY.
DAY 19 - PYAY – YANGON: PYAY is ancient city of PYU capital in central MYANMAR. You may have opportunity to visit the riverside MARKET, SHWE SANDAW PAGODA on a hill, SHWE MYAT MHAN IMAGE of wearing glasses BUDDHA and on the way, to observe animals market. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 20 - DEPARTURE
